Victor Valdes will be the head coach of Unio Atletica d’Horta in Spanish football’s fourth tier from the beginning of the 2020/21 season.
“We hope you have lots of success at the head of our club,” Unio Atletica d’Horta announced on social media.
After 12 seasons with first team, Valdes left Barcelona as a player in 2014, winning six LaLiga Santander titles, Supercopas de Espana, three Champions Leagues, two Copa del Rey trophies, two Club World Cups and two European Super Cups.
The former goalkeeper in Barcelona has prior coaching experience in Moratalaz’s youth teams and his ex-club, which he left in October 2019.
