Valentino Lazaro joins Torino on loan with an option to buy from Inter Milan.
The Turin club announced: “The Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has acquired from the International Football Club Milan, on a temporary basis with the option of definitive transfer, the right to the sports services of the footballer Valentino Lazaro.
“Lazaro was born in Graz, Austria, on March 24, 1996. In football he grew up in Grazer AK and then in Salzburg with which he made his debut, at the age of 16, in the Austrian top flight in the 2012-2013 season. After a brief spell at Liefering, on loan, he returned to Salzburg playing until 2017, with 120 appearances and 15 goals, between league and cups. Later he wore the shirts of Newcastle, Borussia Monchengladbach and, last season, Benfica. For Lazaro also 36 appearances and 3 goals for the Austrian national team.

Inter confirmed the transaction, stating: “The Austrian joins on loan with the Granata having the option to buy. Internazionale Milano would like to announce that 26-year old Valentino Lazaro has joined Torino. On loan with the Granata having the option to buy the Austrian midfielder.”
