Vagner Gonçalves, has completed a loan move to RFC Seraing from FC Metz. The duration of the transfer is for the rest of the season. Both teams have agreed not to include any option to make the transfer a permanent.
He signed for the Garnets in July 2020 for a transfer fee of €3 million plus bonuses.Since then he has appeared 37 times in the Messin jersey, and has scored six goals. Vagner Gonçalves spent the last season on loan at Swiss club FC Sion.
He adds experience to the Belgian side. As he has had spells at Gil Vicente, Saint-Etienne, Nancy, Sion and FC Metz.
RFC Seraing announced, “On this closing day of the transfer window, we record the arrival of offensive player José Dias Goncalves Vagner, better known as Vagner, who arrives on loan from FC Metz.
“He can move forward or on one side of the field, with equal success.
“We welcome him to RFC Seraing!”
FC Metz confirmed the transfer, stating: “Vagner loaned to RFC Seraing.
“The garnet striker is loaned for the rest of the season to RFC Seraing. Training partner of FC Metz and resident of Jupiler Pro League.
“In addition to Quiévrain, the native of Mindelo will join two other Mosellens already loaned to the Steelworkers, namely Guillaume Dietsch and Sami Lahssaini.
