U.S. men’s national team midfielder Tyler Adams insists the squad wants to adopt an attitude of “all or nothing” until the international game begins.
“I’ve got to just get confident because the next time I put on the U.S. shirt, it’s all or nothing, there’s no longer any practice matches,” Adams told ESPN. “Either you are heading out there and playing, or we are not going to head to another World Cup.”
Adams is already looking forward to being fit and playing with RB Leipzig.
Adams, however, hasn’t been featured for the U.S. since March 2019, having struggled with injuries that held him away from the national team over the past year:
“It’s extremely strange. It’s much more unusual for me, because I haven’t played for a year for the national team.”
