Transfer News Football – Manchester United’s Summer Plans

We bring to you, in today’s transfer news football, Manchester United’s summer plans for inbound and outgoing transfers.

Here is our exposé, that is, big reveal, on the transfer plans of Man United for this summer transfer window.

According to ESPN, Manchester United are ready to sell a number of players in order to increase their transfer fund.

United gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer approximately £100m for this summer transfer window, and he’s looking to top up cash flow for transfers.

These players may exit Old Trafford this summer if United receive an acceptable offer to sign any of them.

As for inbound players, United have already signed Jadon Sancho on a football transfer from Dortmund for 72 million pounds.

So, Solskjaer has spent £72.9m of his £100m transfer budget on signing the England winger from Borussia Dortmund.

And in further transfer news football, United are currently negotiating a fee with Real Madrid to sign Raphael Varane. He may even arrive in England to complete his medical with the Manchester club.

All this could have already taken Manchester United’s summer spending beyond £100m.

So, they will have to find a way to bring more money for further transfers.

Toward this end, selling Paul Pogba, possibly to Paris Saint-Germain (football today), might be a way to raise transfer funds.

Manchester United will thus be looking to raise £50m or more by allowing Pogba to leave the club.

Selling Pogba before his contract expires in June 2022, could mean United getting to finalize a couple of priority signings.

So, Pogba is the likely game-changer for United because of the fee the 28-year-old still commands in the transfer market.
