Sturm Graz vs Feyenoord: Preview and predictions

Sturm Graz vs Feyenoord: On Thursday night, Feyenoord will take on Sturm Graz in a Europa League fixture. Football fans can immediately come to the conclusion that Arne Slot’s team has a laid-back evening in the Alps ahead of them after the 6-0 victory in De Kuip in the first leg. Sturm issued a warning to Rotterdam residents at the home team’s press conference.

Not that Slot is going to relax. Feyenoord and Sturm are without a doubt the most exciting of the 24 European groups in which they will be played this week. After four rounds, all teams in this group, which also includes Lazio and Midtjylland, are on five points; anything is still conceivable. Sturm Graz, which has not lost since the setback in the Netherlands, is also seeking retribution.

Albian Ajeti, a veteran member of the Graz team, sat down during the news conference. Ajeti will approach the game with an open mind because she was not present in Rotterdam. “I am one of the team’s more seasoned players. I work to instil in our young team the belief that they can triumph everywhere, including Europe, I believe that is effective. Tomorrow, a lot will be on the line. We are aware of this, have made good preparations, and naturally want to present a very different image than in the first leg,” Ajeti added.

Christian Iltzer’s warning

Christian Iltzer, the head coach, is anticipating the group’s choice. “Few people, I believe, would have predicted that we would be starting in this spot after four games. There are currently two finals. To fulfil our objective of spending the winter in Europe, we are aware that we will likely need to win one,” the trainer stated as he reflected on the completely disastrous evening in De Kuip.

“That was a very bad evening for us; nothing worked out well. Feyenoord displayed exceptional effectiveness, a quality team indicator. Then it becomes incredibly challenging because everything that night was against us. Our staff has put out an exceptionally strong effort in how we have responded to that disaster. It’s very probable that Feyenoord will now undergo another Sturm Graz with the support of our supporters,” Iltzer cautions the rival.
