The Spanish tax office issued its annual list of individuals and corporations that at the end of 2019 owed more than 1 million euros in taxes.
There are numerous clubs listed, with Real Murcia paying 10,7 million euros in back taxes.
Also, Hercules owe 3,7 million euros, Lleida Sportiu 1,5 million euros, Real Jaen 1,2 million euros and Reus Deportiu 1,1 million euros.
Girona’s basketball team is owed 10 million, Atletico Alcantarilla 1.8 million and Balonmano Neptuno 1 million.
Further, Neymar is one of the most high-profile names to appear on the list this year, with a debt of 34.6 m claim Marca.
With 1.8 million euros, retired Argentine footballer Gabriel Milito is also on the list.
And former MotoGP rider Alfonso ‘Sito’ Pons has 1.9 million euros of debt, since being on the list in 2019 as well.
