Serie A confirmed that the season will continue on the weekend of June 20-21. Meanwhile, the Coppa Italia final is set for June 17, with the four remaining games in hand.
Spadafora stated during his announcement that the Coppa Italia will take place the week before, but there are no clear dates were set for the last three matches-the two semi-finals and the showpiece.
The clubs set the green light for the return of Serie A announced yesterday by Minister Spadafora. The announcement read: “The congress of Lega Serie A met on Friday in a video conference in the presence of all 20 associated clubs.”
They voted unanimously on the dispute over the four matches of the 25th matchday on the weekend of 20-21 June. Atalanta v Sassuolo, Hellas Verona v Cagliari, Inter v Sampdoria, and Torino v Parma are the four matches in question.
The schedule for the 27th match starts on Monday, June 22.
“In fact, accepting Minister Spadafora’s request, the 2019-2020 season’s sporting competition must instantly begin with Coppa Italia, whose final is set for 17 June.
