Sadio Mane agrees three year deal with Bayern Munich after LFC snubbed his wage demands

Sadio Mane: German outlet BILD has reported that Liverpool outright snubbed Sadio Mane’s demand for a contract with increased wages. The Senegalese forward had reportedly demanded his salary to be quadrupled. Furthermore, this all but confirmed Mane’s departure from Anfield.

The report read: “Mane demanded just shy of Salah’s anticipated renewal figure. The 30-year-old had requested a significant increase to his £100k-a-week deal. To put him in line with Liverpool’s top earners but the proposal to almost quadruple his pay packet was rejected by the club.

“His £393k-a-week ultimatum was brutally snubbed by the Reds who are now ready to sanction his departure. Priced at £30million, Bayern are said to be confident of reaching an agreement with the Senegalese forward – though Real Madrid and PSG are ready to hijack a move to Bavaria.

“Mane’s preference is Germany. He sees himself as being the top star in Munich whilst in Paris or Madrid he would be just one of several big-name players.”

However, in the latest news we hear that the AFCON winner has agreed a three year deal with Bayern Munich. This is according to Liverpool expert Dave Ockop who tweeted: “Sadio Mane has agreed a three year contract with Bayern Munich. PSG and Barcelona were also interested. He has spoken directly to Julian Nagelsmann. Now up to clubs to agree a fee. Liverpool and Bayern Munich began official talks yesterday.”
