Ronaldo Returns to Italy, to Join Training in Turin

Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Continassa after 72 days of absence from Juventus Village.

Calciomercato.com confirmed his arrival this morning with a Twitter post. He will still be subject to medical tests for COVID-19 prior to retraining.

Ronaldo stayed in Portugal for two months in the company of his family and has been alone for the last two weeks after his return to Turin.

Today, the superstar will undergo the required medical tests for resumption at J Medical and return to Continassa for the first time since the stop.

Since Juventus defeated Inter 2-0 on 8 March, the Portuguese striker flew to Madeira to discover that Serie A had been suspended and that teammate Daniele Rugani had been found positive for coronavirus.
