In the third round of the Premier League Leicester defeated Manchester City. And Brendan Rogers commented on the game.
“How to beat City? We need to play without a break. You need a special mood. Tactically, we played well, we had to give passes quickly because of their counterpressing. We lagged behind, but finished great. We showed good self – control, stayed calm and proved that we could create problems for them,” Brendan Rogers told BBC.
They won by a landslide, sending five goals into their net. And Rogers said: “Great performance and result. It took me 13 years to put on a game like this. I am for the attack, for the aggressive game. But you also need to think about how to get the right result in such games.”
