Renan Lodi, the Atlético Madrid full-back has joined Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan. The transfer is reported to have costed the English side £4.50 million.
He arrives from Madrid having made 118 appearances for the Colchoneros. The defender also managed 4 goals in three seasons at the Spanish capital.
The Brazilian was part of the team that won the La Liga title in 2020/21. He made appearances in 23 of those fixtures.
Furthermore, the 24-year-old has represented his national team on 15 occasions.

“Firstly, I’m really happy to be here at, Forest is an extraordinary team in English football and a very big club,” said Lodi.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity and really looking forward to starting training, meeting my teammates and getting a run of games. I feel very happy today.”
“I’m most excited about the intensity of the game. It’s a strong, physical game. I’m certain that it will really suit my style of play. I’m looking forward to training with my teammates and having the opportunity to play in games as well.
“I’d like to write my name into the club’s history. I want Nottingham to stay in the top division, the Premier League. It’s a massive, ambitious club. My main objective is also to go to the World Cup, representing Nottingham Forest with the Brazilian national team and on the world stage. This club showed total faith in me and I want to give something back to them too.”
