Real Sociedad and Real Madrid have agreed a deal for the transfer of Take Kubo. The Japanese international has signed for La Real until 2027.
Los Txuri-Urdin announced, “Real Sociedad and Real Madrid have reached an agreement on the transfer of Take Kubo. La Real Sociedad, in turn, has reached an agreement with the player until the end of the 26-27 season.
“With a lot of experience despite his 21 years, Kubo arrives at the Real with his quality, playfulness and dynamism in order to contribute to the txuri urdin offensive game. Ongietorri, Kubo. Welcome!”
The club added: “Today was a big day for Take Kubo. The new Real Sociedad player landed in Hondarribia late yesterday afternoon. However, he has had a quite busy day today. He passed his medical examination at Policlínica Gipuzkoa this morning and after signing his contract with the txuri urdin club, he went to the Miramar Palace for a photo session with the media. Afterwards, he went to the Reale Arena to attend his first press conference and speak to the journalists who appeared at the event.
“Nonetheless, the day was not over for the Japanese player, who also went to Zubieta for an individual workout session. There, I met Imanol Alguacil, with whom I shared his first impressions of him as a txuri urdin player. Tomorrow he will train with his teammates during the morning session that will take place at the txuri urdin facilities.”
“I think it’s the most appropriate team for my style as a footballer. It’s a very young team with ambition and desire. I am very happy to be part of the team,” Kubo said.
“I hope to be able to show the best version of myself. And I can’t wait to start training tomorrow with my teammates.”
