RC Strasbourg have signed Ronael Pierre-Gabriel from FSV Mainz on a season long loan

RC Strasbourg have signed Ronael Pierre-Gabriel from FSV Mainz on a season long loan. The French club announced: “The right side of FSV Mainz 05, Ronael Pierre-Gabriel, is committed to racing. The 24-year-old joins the club on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

“Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel is Racing’s third recruit after Thomas Delaine and Colin Dagba, both loan players.

“Although he is only 24 years old, the professional right-back already has solid experience in Ligue 1 with 98 matches played in the space of six seasons.

“Racing’s new number 18, Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel, surrounded by Julien Stéphan, Racing coach, and Marc Keller, President of Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace.”

“Karol Fila has pubalgia and he will be out for several weeks. This is a long enough delay to bring us to react in order to secure our workforce on the right side. We are therefore very happy to welcome Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel for this season. He is on loan with an option to buy from the Mainz club,” explains Marc Keller, President of the RC Strasbourg Alsace.

The Parisian by birth is therefore launching a new challenge. And is eager to start in his new colors: “I am very happy to join Racing. It is a club with a great history, important values and a passionate public. Strasbourg is a stronghold of French football. I really liked the leaders’ speech. There are really great things to do here.”
