Paris Saint-Germain, a French professional football club, has opened a permanent retail store in Los Angeles in collaboration with Fanatics. So, in other words, PSG and Fanatics have launched their first North America store in LA.
Sports retailer Fanatics opened an exclusive Paris Saint-Germain storefront in the Westfield Century City Mall on Saturday.
So, as part of their 10-year merchandising agreement, PSG and Fanatics have launched their first North America store in collaboration.
The new space is the first standalone European club retail location in North America.
It offers the French club’s fan gear in the United States. It features a full collection of Nike and Jordan on-the-field apparel, signature collaborations, and Los Angeles-inspired Paris Saint-Germain merchandise.
Paris Saint-Germain announced the launching in an official club statement.
“We are very happy to be back in the City of Angels where we had such a fantastic tour with the team in 2016 and where we have amazing fans of our brand,” said Fabien Allegre, Brand Diversification Director at PSG said in the statement.
“Our popularity is growing steadily, as the number of followers on social media develops at a fast pace, the number of viewers for our games beats records and the opening of fan clubs and PSG Academy sites, show,” he added.
“Since our deal with Fanatics, both the interest in Paris Saint-Germain and our sales have increased.”
“We are just beginning a new era of growth and development,” he finished.
This is not the only new marketing device that PSG have introduced. Recently, they also paired up with the late popstar Prince’s estate to launch a promotional campaign.
