Paris Saint-Germain have signed Hugo Ekitiké from Stade de Reims on loan. The deal also includes an option to buy. The Parisians announced: “Paris Saint-Germain are pleased to announce the signing of Hugo Ekitiké from Stade de Reims. The French striker has joined on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
“Hugo Ekitiké started playing football at the age of five at FC Cormontreuil before joining the Stade de Reims academy in 2013. The 1m89 player signed his first professional contract with his first club in the summer of 2020.”
Reims confirmed the same, “The SDR will have seen him grow, flourish, discover Ligue 1 Uber Eats… then dazzle him with his talent! A pure product of the Red and White Academy, the native of the City of Coronations takes off and joins Paris Saint-Germain after a rich season punctuated by eleven achievements but also strong emotions shared with the Reims public.
“After hitting his first balls at Cormontreuil FC, Hugo joined Stade de Reims at the age of 11. Little by little, he crosses the levels until integrating the training center. His qualities as a scorer, his disconcerting address for his large size (1m89) and his technique allow him to integrate the Pro 2 group. After ten National 2 matches and a 1/16 final for Gambardella against… PSG precisely at only 17 years old, he leaves the cocoon. He has always known for a development loan in Denmark mid-season.”
