Pablo Marí has left Arsenal to join AC Monza on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met

Pablo Marí has left Arsenal to join AC Monza on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

Biancorossi announced: “Pablo Marí is officially an AC Monza player.

“Born on 31st August 1993 in Almussafes, Marí grew up in Mallorca’s youth academy and made his first team debut on 7th December 2011. In the summer of 2013 he joins Gimnastic de Tarragona, where he collects 96 appearances and 6 goals in three seasons.

“Then, after signing for Manchester City, his experiences on loan with Girona, NAC Breda and Deportivo La Coruna before joining Flamengo.

“With the Brazilian Club he collects 30 caps, winning both the Brasilerao and Copa Libertadores.

“On January 2020 he signs for Arsenal, where he plays for two years and wins an FA Cup.

“On January 2022 he joins Udinese on loan, collecting 15 appearances and two goals.

“Welcome Pablo!”

The Gunners confirmed the same, stating: “Pablo Mari has joined Serie A side AC Monza. On loan for the 2022/23 season.

“The 28-year-old initially joined us on loan from Brazilian side Flamengo in January 2020. And made the move permanent in the summer of that year. He has made 22 appearances for us in all competitions.

“Everyone at Arsenal wishes Pablo well in Italy with AC Monza during this next stage of his career.

“The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
