Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Confirms Pogba’s Stay with Man Utd for 2020-21 Campaign

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains confident that Paul Pogba will remain at the club for at least a season more.

Solskjaer told Sky Sports an interview he was looking forward to pairing Pogba with Bruno Fernandes signing January as the season resumes in the coming weeks:

“Good players can always find a way to get together so having them both is a big positive.

“Paul had a difficult season with injuries, but the restart gives him the chance to start on par with other players, if not ahead.”

In 2019-20, the former Juventus man struggled with form and fitness, with two ankle injuries limiting him to only five Premier League starts.

After indicating his desire to leave Old Trafford last summer, the French international has been widely linked with a move to Real Madrid. Despite Zinedine Zidane retaining a constant interest in the 27-year-old, however, United do want to keep hold of him that for the 2020-21 campaign.
