Lille FC have announced the signing of Rémy Cabella on a free. The club announced: “The LOSC welcomes today in its rows the French international, Rémy Cabella (4 selections). Free of any contract, the attacking midfielder (32) signed a one-season contract today (plus one optional) with the Lille club.
“Welcome to LOSC, Remy!”
Remy Cabella said: “I am very happy to be here, to join LOSC, a big French club which for me is in the top 5 of the championship. There had been discussions with Lille for a while, I had the president several times on the phone, he presented the project to me. It touched and captivated me. I can’t wait to start, to discover this group with players that I like. I am here to win.”
Olivier Létang, Chairman and CEO of Lille FC added: “ We are delighted to welcome Rémy Cabella among us. Its recruitment mainly meets two objectives: first, to add quality and a complementary profile to our workforce. Everyone knows the qualities of Remy, a technical and creative profile, capable of scoring as much as scoring. Then, that of acquiring an experienced element, knowing Ligue 1 perfectly. Remy also has the human profile, the personality and the character that we are looking for. He was free, he has a great desire for victories, so we took the opportunity to ask him to join us and we are delighted to see Rémy Cabella, the player and the man, today wearing the LOSC jersey.
