Joaquín Blázquez has joined Stade Brestois from Club Atlético Talleres on a one-year loan with option to buy

Joaquín Blázquez has joined Stade Brestois from Club Atlético Talleres on a one-year loan with option to buy.

Les Pirates announced: “Stade Brestois are happy to announce the signing of Joaquín Blázquez (21) on a one-year loan with option to buy. The young Argentinian goalkeeper comes from Club Atlético Talleres and joined Finistère this week where he will complete the trio of goalkeepers already made up of Marco Bizot and Grégoire Coudert.

“One more piece to the puzzle. Stade Brestois continued its 2022 summer transfer window today by securing the services of Argentine goalkeeper Joaquín Blázquez. Following Gautier Larsonneur’s departure to Valenciennes on loan last week, there were only two professional goalkeepers left in the squad. They are now three with the international U20 and Argentinian U23, Joaquín Blázquez.

“Loaned during the year 2019 to Valencia, Spain, to evolve with the club’s U19s, Joaquín will once again settle in Europe. He has indeed signed up for a one-season loan with an option to buy with Stade Brestois. Where he will therefore work in the group of doormen under the leadership of Julien Lachuer. He was present this morning at the SICA – Prince de Bretagne center to attend the session of his new teammates.

“Joaquín Blázquez is the fifth SB29 recruit this summer after Mathias Pereira Lage, Noah Fadiga, Karamoko Dembélé and Pierre Lees-Melou. He will wear number 1.

“Welcome Joaquin!”
