Managers’ reaction

Andre Breitenreiter (TSG Hoffenheim coach): “Everyone takes a point, that’s okay. We didn’t play the solutions we wanted in the first half. We neutralized ourselves in the second half.”

“He’s an extraordinary personality. He hasn’t changed at all – despite his great successes. He’s a great goalkeeper, but what’s even more important is that he’s such a great person,” explained Streich. “It’s always great to see him when we play against each other. We don’t talk much. That’s enough if we look at each other and hug each other. It’s so warm and so good. We have to concentrate, me I can’t babble on him when he has to defend the goal.”

Christian Streich (SC Freiburg coach): “The team did everything they could to be on an equal footing with Hoffenheim. Physically, the team is in very good condition. That’s why it was right not to change the team.”
