Josep Guardiola and at least eight players in Manchester City face the possibility of self-isolation once they touch down in England.
Manchester City’s current runner-up and several of his teammates could find themselves in a 14-day self-isolation when they return to the UK before joining the rest of the squad for training, according to British The Times.
Guardiola is currently still in Spain where he travelled after his mother passed away from the coronavirus. He had travelled with Gabriel Jesus, Ederson Fernandinho, Rodri Bernardo Silva, and David Silva to the Island.
The managers of three other Premier League clubs are in the same situation, Nuno Espirito Santo of Wolverhampton Wanderers is in Portugal, Daniel Farke of Norwich City is in Germany and Ralph Hasenhuettl of Southampton is in Austria.
