Granada CF have agreed for the the transfer of Colombian forward Luis Suárez to Olympique de Marseille

Granada CF have agreed for the the transfer of Colombian forward Luis Suárez to Olympique de Marseille. The French outfit announced: “Olympique de Marseille announces the signature of the Colombian forward Luis Suárez from Granada CF. The 24 year old player has signed for 5 years with the Olympic club after passing his medical examination.

“Born in Santa Marta (Colombia) on December 2, 1997, Luis began his professional career in his native country, before joining Granada CF in 2016, on loan, for his first European experience.

“Transferred to Watford (England) in 2017, he kept training in Spain through several loans, until he got took his chance at Real Zaragoza in the 2019-2020 season, playing a full season in Liga B (38 games and 19 goals).

“At the end of this season at Zaragoza, he got taken over by Granada CF. A club he returned to 4 years after his first loan. At the same time, his good performances opened the doors of the Colombian national team, who rewarded his performances with his first call-up for “los Cafeteros” in November 2020.

“A player with great potential, Luis is fast, powerful and very generous in the effort. Qualities that will allow him to adapt to our environment and to impose himself in Igor Tudor’s team.”
