Pini Zahavi, the agent representing David Alaba, has denied reports that his client has agreed a move to Barcelona.
The Austrian Bayern Munich defender has played 23 games in the Bundesliga this season, scoring two goals and making one assist.
And Alaba wants to play in the Spanish league and the Madrid club is seen as the most likely place for the player to continue his career.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo had earlier reported that the player’s representatives and Barcelona president Joan Laporta had reached a verbal agreement on Alaba’s move to the Catalan club.
“It’s not true,” Zahavi told SPOX.
According to SPOX, moreover, PSG, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also bidding for the player.
