Sturridge May Move to MLS

Daniel Sturridge may move to MLS, that is, Major League Soccer.

Two MLS clubs Inter Miami and DC United are currently keeping an eye on the former England striker.

According to the Daily Mirror, Sturridge won 26 caps for the England national team.

And he is regarded as a hugely gifted striker with a natural goalscoring ability.

During his time with Trabzonspor, Sturridge made 16 appearances in all competitions. He scored seven goals in that time.

After being released by Turkish club Trabzonspor, though, the 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year.

Now trying to revive his career, Sturridge may move to MLS. He may even join up before the 2021 campaign begins in April.

The former Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City forward would be a huge coup for the MLS.

Sturridge is reportedly wanted by David Beckham’s Inter Miami, who recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs.

DC United also want him. They were able to sign Wayne Rooney for a short period between June 2018 and October 2019.
