Mohamed Salah has refused to rule out a move away from Liverpool.
Liverpool prepares to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals. With the first leg set for April 6, Salah was asked about his future.
He was previously reported to be unlikely to leave. But now, Salah has refused to rule out a move away from Liverpool himself.
“It’s not up to me,” Salah told Marca when asked if it is time to leave Liverpool.
Salah, who has scored a joint-high 17 Premier League goals this season, added: “We’ll see what happens but I prefer not to talk about that now.”
Salah was questioned about his future with Premier League champions Liverpool. He has been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Salah was pressed on whether a move to Spain appeals, having already experienced England and Italy.
And he replied: “I hope to be able to play for many more years. Why not?
“No one knows what’s going to happen in the future, so… maybe one day, yes.”
