Rummenigge Has Commented on Erling Haaland

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has commented on Erling Haaland, and rumors of interest in the Borussia Dortmund striker.

“Robert Lewandowski has a contract until 2023. And I am convinced that with his professionalism, it is not over yet. Look at the way he trains and takes care of his body,” said Rummenigge to Sport Bild.

Robert has scored 35 goals in 25 Bundesliga games this season.

Meanwhile, Erling, who is 12 years younger, has 21 goals in 21 games.

And Rummenigge’s retorted to Haaland rumors with his Lewandowski quip before too- as can be seen here.

Rummenigge has commented on Erling Haaland by saying: “I don’t know where these rumors are coming from. I can only say one thing: we have a world-class footballer playing at this position.”
