Sergi Roberto, a versatile defender, has recently been valued at €60 million (£51.4 million) by Barcelona.
Roberto’s made just eight appearances in La Liga, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Due to injuries, the 29-year-old has failed to make an impact under new manager Ronald Koeman this season.
Furthermore, even if Roberto had been completely fit, his game time would have been limited due to the arrival of Sergino Dest.
And, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2022, the right-future back’s is currently uncertain.
According to Mundo Deportivo, though, new president Joan Laporta is putting Lionel Messi’s contract situation first, while Ilaix Moriba, Oscar Mingueza, and Ousmane Dembele’s contracts will also take priority over Roberto’s.
