Moyes Warns Interested Clubs about Rice’s Price

Declan Rice’s suitors have been warned by West Ham United boss David Moyes that a £100-million offer will not be enough to compel a deal.

Rice has had another outstanding season at the heart of West Ham’s midfield and is attracting interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

The 22-year-old was even linked with Chelsea last summer.

And Rice’s price tag last summer was thought to be around £100 million, which is why big-spenders Chelsea were unable to complete a contract.

However, Moyes is convinced that it should be much bigger.

“The owners think he’s worth £100m — well, I completely disagree with that,” Moyes began according to The Times. “Far, far more than £100m.

“I have watched the prices of some players who have gone to clubs recently and they could not lace Declan Rice’s boots. They have come from overseas and made nowhere near the impact Declan would have.”
