Italian Club May Have Suffered a COVID Outbreak

Inter suspect an outbreak of coronavirus at their Italian base.

After Danilo D’Ambrosio and Samir Handanovic tested positive for coronavirus, seven first-team players have been put at risk.

On Sunday morning, D’Ambrosio started to develop symptoms, and Handanovic has since tested positive as well.

And seven players were on the team bus with the two players last Sunday, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Stefan de Virj, Achraf Hakimi, Nicol Barella, Christian Eriksen, Ivan Perisic, Lautaro Martinez, and Romelu Lukaku were all in the team bus with the two positive players on Sunday.

However, these seven people, who have so far escaped the coronavirus, have not tested positive for COVID-19.
