Ibra to Return to His National Team

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will resume his career with the Swedish national team.

Zlatan played for the national team of Sweden from 2001 to 2016. He scored 62 goals in 116 games and is the team’s top scorer.

And now, the 39-year-old forward will return to the national team in time for the start of World Cup 2022 qualifying, according to FotbollDirekt.

Ibrahimovic has been called up to the national team for the March games. The Swedes will play against Georgia on March 25.

In the current Serie A season, the Milan striker has scored 14 goals in 14 games and is fourth on the all-time goalscorer list.
