Achraf Hakimi’s agent has insisted that his client is “happy” being an Inter Milan full-back.
In wake of reports linking Hakimi to a move to Arsenal, his agent said he was content in Italy.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, agent Alejandro Camano said: “Hakimi is happy at Inter with [Antonio] Conte, who is an excellent coach. Conte’s style of play suits Achraf and I think he will end up improving a lot because of this experience with the Nerazzurri.”
Hakimi is believed to be worth £40 million.
The Gunners are expected to sign a new right-back ahead of the 2021-22 season, with Hector Bellerin expected to leave the Emirates this summer.
Ever since, Hakimi been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s side ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.
However, the 22-year-agent old’s agent has now dismissed such reports.
