Final in Istanbul May Be Played with Fans

As the Covid-19 vaccine rollout continues throughout Europe, fans may be able to attend the 2021 Champions League final in Istanbul.

UEFA is “confident” that, albeit in a reduced capacity, fans can return for the final.

According to ESPN, UEFA says that fans will be able to attend the Champions League final on May 29 at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium.

The pandemic has started to affect the sport this season, and a number of games are being played at neutral venues owing to travel bans in certain nations.
