Juventus striker Paulo Dybala says he’s hurt by the team’s 0-1 defeat to Benevento in the 28th round of Serie A more than the players actually on the pitch.
“Nothing would have made me happier than being able to help the team these months… When you can’t get on the pitch as part of a team, you feel the same or even more pain as they do,” wrote Dybala on Instagram.
“We have two more months to keep fighting. We have to be even more united now than before.”
The 27-year-old forward has played only 11 games in Serie A this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
This is because the Argentine is injured and has not been on the pitch since January 10.
He wrote: “I am still training and cannot wait to reunite with my teammates after this break. We are Juventus.”
