Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has undergone yet another surgery on his knee.
He injured his knee a second time at the end of December last year.
The first surgery was carried out in January. After that, the Brazilian continued to feel discomfort.
According to Esport3, the footballer flew to Qatar to undergo a medical check-up after undergoing a second meniscus surgery, which he underwent about a month ago.
But now his knee is recovering faster.
Coutinho has made 14 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
And the player scored three goals and provided two assists.
Coutinho was initially expected to return to the pitch in early April. The timetable has now been pushed back, however.
The club is now confident that the midfielder will play for Barca in a month’s time.
