The Football Association of England has published a report on payments made by EPL clubs to agents, writes The Guardian. And Chelsea spent the most on agents over the 12 months from February 2020 to February 2021.
Chelsea spent the most on agent payments. They made several costly transfers in the off-season, including Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell.
The sum spent on agents amounted to £35,247,822.
Manchester City (£30,174,615) and Manchester United (£29,801,555) followed Chelsea.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich have spent the least at £4,222,059.
All teams spent a total of £272,220,223 on agency fees. In the previous period, the total payment was £263,368,860.
So, despite the crisis associated with the coronavirus pandemic, the net amount has increased.
