Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno declines to comment on Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible return.
The Real Madrid chief was asked about the on-going reports that Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus for a return to Spain.
And Butragueno told Sky Sport Italia: “We’ll see, in half-an-hour, we are playing practically a final, one of the most important games of the season. All our energy has to be on this match and booking our spot in the quarter-final draw.”
Instead, he spends time to describe Atalanta as a “dangerous squad”.
“The Bernabeu is the Bernabeu, but we have to play here, be effective and realise this is the reality,” he said, about playing at their Valdebebas training ground, the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
“Atalanta are a dangerous team who attack with numerous players and have many options to score. It’ll be an open game with two great teams and the result could be very open, so we’ll see what happens.”
