Beckham: I Don’t Think It’s a Difficult Decision for Players to Move Here

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has spoken out about MLS as an alluring league to play in.

“Honestly, I don’t think it’s a difficult decision for players to move here,” Beckham told ESPN. “It’s a beautiful place here. It’s an incredible city here. We have a great fan base, there’s a lot of talent in Miami and South Florida. It’s a city that attracts big stars from Europe.”

He also commented on the possibility of attracting stars of the level of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the Florida club.

“When we announced [the creation of] Inter Miami, there was always talk about the players we could bring in – Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. There will always be that kind of talk,” he said.
