Joe Hart and James McCarthy have left the Premier League to join Celtic under Ange Postecoglou. So, among today’s transfer news football, Celtic have signed Hart and McCarthy to move to Scotland from England’s Premier League.
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart joins has just spent last season with Tottenham.
Hart was a Premier League champion twice during the 12 years he played at the Etihad Stadium.
Now however, the 34-year-old, who has 75 England caps, made only 10 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur in the 2020-21 season. Eight of these appearances have been as a goalkeeper in the Europa League.

And now, Celtic have announced the addition of Joe Hart to their squad, along with James McCarthy, too.
Hart has agreed to a three-year deal with the Scottish outfit.
“This is a great moment for me in my career and I am absolutely delighted to be joining a club of Celtic’s stature,” Hart said via Celtic’s website.
“I know just how big this club is and of the incredible support that it enjoys, and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans at Celtic Park.”
Meanwhile, McCarthy, who left Crystal Palace at the end of the season, has agreed to a longer, four-year contract.
And Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou said about the two signings: “I’m delighted that we have signed two top-class players in Joe and James. Both of them have a wealth of experience at both club and international levels, and that is something that can only benefit the squad, and I’m looking forward to working with both of them.
“I know our supporters will be well aware of both players, and I’m sure they’ll welcome them to the club and look forward to seeing both of them play for Celtic in the seasons ahead.”
