Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has called it a wrap on the Harry Kane summer saga. The Spurs head coach calls Kane’s football transfer saga “finished”, terming the forward’s announcement that he will stay “fantastic news.”
Harry Kane told Spurs at the end of last season that he wanted to leave the club (the football news).
Moreover, he demanded that upon leaving Tottenham, he wanted to join another (rival) Premier League club and not leave England.
So, although the Tottenham Hotspur striker briefly considered going to Paris Saint-Germain, most football transfer news pointed toward Manchester City.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy flatly refused to sell his star striker Kane cheap, particularly to a Premier League rival.
And now, we are in the final week of the summer transfer window. Right about now, therefore, City should’ve made one last push to sign Harry Kane.

But Harry Kane has finally realized that a move to Manchester City was not going to happen this summer.
Hence, the 28-year-old decided to quit his bids to leave sooner and commit to the Spurs for the foreseeable future.
Kane returned to training last week after an extended summer break.
And his Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been impressed with what he has seen in this short time back.
So, though Kane’s future is still up in the air, Nuno has voiced his confidence in his presence this season.
“It’s great news, fantastic news for everybody. Since Harry joined us, he’s been working so this is what we value. His attitude in training sessions has been great,” Nuno said, via the Evening Standard.
“It’s finished. Harry’s going to be with us. He worked today. He’s an option [to face Pacos]. Like I said, fantastic news for everybody. We are all very happy. He is one of the best players in the world, so we are all very happy, delighted to have one more option for the season ahead of us.”
