Serie A Football Results – Torino and Lazio Drew 1-1

In the last game of the 5th round of the Italian football championship, Roma defeated Udinese 1-0 (watch football match). Also, among other recent Serie A football results, Torino and Lazio drew 1-1 while Napoli destroyed Sampdoria with 0-4 away.

The only goalscorer in the Roma-Udinese fixture was Tammy Abraham who slotted in a Roma goal at the 36th minute.

Meanwhile, Napoli maintained a 100% performance through the 5th round by beating Sampdoria convincingly – 4-0 (2-0) away victory in Genoa.

The scorers here were Osimhen (10, 50), Ruiz (39), and Zielinski (59). While the former secured a brilliant brace, the latter two added to Napoli’s tally, finding the home team’s net once.

So now, with three new points from this victory, Roma are currently in fourth place on the Italian table. They have 12 points in total, which is one less than Inter and Milan, and three less than leaders Napoli.

Also, in seventh place, Lazio now has eight points, which is one more than Torino in the ninth place.

Meanwhile, earlier on the same Thursday night, that is yesterday, Torino finished in a 1-1 (0-0) home draw against Lazio.

Croatian striker Marko Pjaca was the scorer for Torino for the second game in a row, scoring their only goal.

Six days ago in Torino’s match of the 4th round against Sassuolo, Pjaca scored the first goal of the match.

Another Croatian expert (just, in coaching), Ivan Jurić, introduced Pjaca to the game instead of the other Croatian, Josip Brekalo.

This time, too, Jurić sent Pjaca, a 26-year-old striker, to the pitch in the 74th minute. And only two minutes later, he scored with his head at the guests’ net, playing after Sing’s cross (from Rome).

Five minutes later, Pjaca found himself in another great situation, an opportunity, but Reina saved his kick from 12 meters.

Lazio saved themselves from defeat by a penalty kick that Roma’s Immobile took, in the first minute of added time.

The reason behind Roma winning this penalty chance was that Djidji knocked down Muriqi in his penalty area without hesitation.

The Results:

Sampdoria – Napoli 0-4 (Osimhen 10, 50, Ruiz 39, Zielinski 59)

Torino – Lazio 1-1 (Pjaca 76 / Immobile 90 + 1-11m)

Roma – Udinese 1-0 (Abraham 36)
