Having taken just one point from their opening three Serie A games, Juventus took on AC Milan for Serie A. And yesterday saw, among other Serie A football results, Juventus and Milan draw 1-1 in their fourth round football match.
AC Milan were playing away without the injured duo of Zlatan Ibrahimović and Olivier Giroud at the Allianz Stadium.
So, a 1-1 tie is not the worse of football scores for Italian club Milan.
Serie A Football Results – Juventus and Milan Draw 1-1
It took Bianconeri just three minutes to open the score as Alvaro Morata scored a goal. He fired the ball into the back of the net beyond Mike Maignan.
The guests looked to be missing some certain attacking guile to benefit from their increased possession in the second half.
But still, they came up with an equalizer eventually when Milan’s Ante Rebic found himself free to score a header. His head easily netted the ball into the Juve net from a perfectly-delivered corner.
This goal means that Juventus have now failed to keep a clean sheet in 18 games.
And indeed, Stefano Pioli’s men finished the stronger. Wojciech Szczęsny produced a stunning save to deny Pierre Kalulu a late winner.
So, the match ended in a 1-1 draw placing Rossoneri second in the standings.
However, Massimiliano Allegri’s men are still struggling at the bottom of the table with only 2 points after 4 games.
