Serie A Football Results – Bologna Win 3-0 at Home
Bologna broke the scoreless deadlock in the 14th minute of the match thanks to Musa Barrow’s stunning finish.
Barrow curled an unstoppable strike from the edge of the box past a motionless Pepe Reina in the Lazio goal.
Then, Arthur Theate doubled the advantage just three minutes later when Barrow delivered an excellent corner to the far post.
This enabled the Belgian to head home on his first start for the club.
Curiously, it was the fifth Bologna goal from a corner this season – more than any other Serie A team.
Further into the match, Barrow was a constant threat to the Lazio defense throughout the entire game.
It was Aaron Hickey, however, who ended hopes of a Lazio comeback by scoring his second goal of the season. His goal made it 3-0 for Bologna, thereby confirming their victory.
Maurizio Sarri’s men’s misery compounded when Francesco Acerbi received two yellow cards in quick succession. These yellow cards were for Acerbi’s dissent with little over 10 minutes remaining on the clock.
