Pep Guardiola Returned an Inconclusive Coronavirus Test

After Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola returned an inconclusive coronavirus test, he has cancelled his media activities on Friday.

Former Barcelona head coach Pep Guardiola travelled to Catalonia this week to attend a news conference at the Nou Camp.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was in Barcelona on Wednesday as Sergio Aguero announced his retirement from football (football transfer). Pep was the Argentina and City legend’s coach earlier this year in the Premier League, after all (the football news).

Pep Guardiola Returned an Inconclusive Coronavirus Test

Now, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has several pressing duties, many with the press, today and in the days ahead.

As things stand, the Premier League have not cancelled Manchester City’s Sunday trip to Newcastle United, unlike others (football today).

But because Guardiola travelled to Barcelona in Spain, the City coach is awaiting the results of a necessary PCR test.

If his PCR test comes back positive he will have to isolate for 10 days and also miss facing Newcastle.

But the result is negative, he can take charge of his team when they visit St James’ Park on Sunday.

An isolation period of 10 days would mean Guardiola is also unavailable for the Boxing Day visit to Leicester City.
