Mike Maignan will miss at least 10 weeks after wrist surgery, and the Italian will likely skip Champions League registration.
In addition to Maignan, further, the Rossoneri will be without third-choice goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari until January. Plizzari is also on the bench due to a knee injury.

Antonio Mirante has become a free agent after his contract with Roma expired. And he has agreed to join AC Milan until the end of the season, the club confirmed.
The 38-year-old will wear the number 83 jersey for Milan, having previously represented Crotone, Juventus, Sampdoria, Parma, and Bologna.
Just today, Maignan had keyhole surgery on his left wrist, which included repairing a ligament injury as well as securing a percutaneous pedicle screw to the scaphoid bone in his wrist owing to a vascular issue.
The France international will have his wrist immobilized in a cast for six weeks. Only then will he be able to commencing the rehabilitation process, according to a statement from the club.

Due to all this, Maignan has been away for more than 30 days. And because of this, UEFA has a loophole that allows Milan to replace the goalie in the Champions League team.
This means Mirante will be available for the rest of the European group games.
