A report coming an hour ago from Sky Sports’ transfer news football today claims Paris Saint-Germain have bagged Lionel Messi. Per the report, Messi agrees to a football transfer to PSG after receiving a formal two-year contract offer from them.

On August 6, a heartbroken Lionel Messi left Barcelona after their trifles with La Liga meant they couldn’t afford him.

Messi was going to sign a new five-year contract at Barcelona but the club not able to complete the deal.

Then came the football news that the former Catalan captain and superstar would be signing with French outfit Paris Saint-Germain.

And now, Sky Sports have claimed that Messi has agreed to join PSG.

Messi Agrees to a Football Transfer to PSG

Per the popular sports’ news site, Lionel Messi has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract.

Further, it seems, Lionel Messi will sign two-year deal with PSG worth £25m per year after making tax deductions.

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner had two other options after leaving Barcelona last week, PSG or Manchester City (live football).

And he has chosen to sign with the Parisians on a deal worth £25m per year after tax, plus bonuses.

The 34-year-old will allegedly receive a £25m signing-on fee.

Upon moving to the French club, Messi will have the option to extend the deal going into its third year.

PSG have left the option of extending his stay beyond two years in the French capital up to Messi entirely.

Messi has agreed to join PSG due to their potential to compete for major trophies.

Their potential for silverware, including the Champions League, may be a key factor in his decision to move to France.
