Jurgen Klopp has stated that he wants time off.
Despite being recently linked with the German national team job, he insists that no bid can convince him to take another position during his break.
So, Klopp has announced that his time with Liverpool comes to an end, as he will take a year off from football.
“When Liverpool finish, it’s definitely a year’s break. No one needs to call, not after four months or after six. No matter who tries it, it’s a year’s shift,” Klopp said during an interview with compatriot Lothar Matthaus for Bild.
The Reds’ manager has had a tough Premier League season so far, with many first-team defenders hurt.
It was a disappointing run of form at Anfield since the turn of the year, which has seen his side dropping out of the title chase and into the top four.
