Sevilla winger Suso was delighted to see the Diavolo finish the season ‘very well’ with coach Stefano Pioli.
“Milan was really good finishing the campaign,” Suso told Sky Sport Italia.
The 26-year-old went on loan in January with an option to buy under conditions, and triggered the contract by helping his new club to get to the Champions League:
“I wanted to come here for the coach and my teammates. I’m happy both for me and for them.”
Suso has featured for Milan 153 games, scoring 24 goals and 36 assists in the process.
He also says Milan ‘are a part of his heart’: “I have been watching the team, as they are part of my heart. I’ve played for several years there.”
