Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, the club affirmed that after the latest test round on Monday (June 8).
He will now follow the specific guidance and undergo an isolation period, while continuing to be in regular digital contact with his coaching staff and players.
Meanwhile, assistant manager Billy McKinlay will take charge of training as the Potters prepare for their game against Reading on June 20.
In the previous five test rounds, O’Neill had tested negative.
