Defender Antonio Rüdiger was kicked out of training for fighting with Kepa Arrizabalaga. There was a clash between Rüdiger and goalkeeper Kepa at Chelsea’s training session, claims The Guardian.
The players began to shove each other and were pulled apart by their teammates. Then, Rüdiger was kicked out of training.
The German was sent off early after a clash with the Spaniard on a game episode.
Rüdiger later apologised to both Kepa and Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel.
On Saturday, Chelsea suffered their first defeat under Tuchel when they lost heavily at home to West Bromwich (2-5).
At that game, Rüdiger and Kepa were on the bench, though. Incidentally, Rüdiger was reportedly one of the reasons Tuchel wanted to come to Chelsea.
